Neighbors and protesters gathered in front of the Pinocho Club in Villa Urquiza to express their rejection of Javier Milei's policies. One participant denounced the government's corruption and lack of empathy towards retirees and workers, while observing how figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump benefit in the United States.
At the event, which included the presence of Karina Milei, secretary of the Presidency, and legislator Pilar RamÃrez, the protesters made themselves heard with pots and chants demanding Karina's departure from the place. The Inter-Neighborhood Assembly of Parque Saavedra organized the protest, which included slogans like "Out Karina!".
The protesters accused the Government and its allies in the Judiciary and the media of mocking the people and maintaining an insensitive stance towards the crisis situation faced by ordinary citizens. They pointed to the police presence as a form of protection for Karina Milei, whom they consider an inappropriate figure for a place with such neighborhood symbolism as the Pinocho Club.
"They are overwhelming a people," concluded the participants, expressing their discontent with policies they consider destructive, dehumanizing, and sinister. The presence of young libertarians, who emulate the doctrine of Carlos Menem, was also noticeable at the event, although no statements were recorded from the presidential family during the protest.
